Truth

Have you lied today? Have you told the truth? Why did you do either? Because it was the right thing to do or because it was the easy thing to do?

Sometimes we tell the truth when it's asked of us and sometimes it's easier to keep the peace, bite out our tongue and fib. So how do we know when it's ok to lie?

Or is it ever?

A situation here at work has recently made me wonder about the fine line between truth and lies and the power that they both yield. There are outright lies. There are lies by omission. There is truth to construct and truth to destruct.

I guess in the end it's about how you feel and the intention behind your words.
